| I was visiting a client and noticed a veteran's flag in a display case. I asked if I could take a look "Of course!" replied the vet's widow. Here was a WW II vet's burial flag displayed in a case marked: Made In Japan I didn't say anything to my client but it got me to thinking... Now I make these to honor our service people from hardwoods grown on American soil and crafted proudly for those who served by an appreciative American. |

| Due to the unique nature of military medals, each client presents with different needs. This case would actually display two full rows of ribbons in addition to the "push pin" type medals. Please contact me with your specific requirements. Available in many hardwoods, curly or figured woods. Includes lock and two keys. |
This flag case with medal display area is made out of quarter-sawn oak from a local Amish mill with black walnut splines. Grown in an Ohio forest, hand cut by an Ohio Amish man, milled in Ohio and finally crafted by me in my shop. This is as American Made as it gets! Note the fine black walnut inlay spline work on my joined corners which add not only beauty but strength. Sure, I could make this case as a mass produced item, but each one is as unique and special as the service person it represents. I do it to honor our vets. Priced at $150.00. |
