one of America's most popular woods, representing the strength of America's
spirit. This case, as all my others, features finger-joint construction and double

This case is made from curly maple graded
AAA-an exceptional piece I was able to pick
up at CurlyMapleWood (see my Links Page
for how this wood grows). This stuff is a
bear to work with-starting from the mill to
the planer to the finish sanding. Its twists
and bends can drive me (and my
machinery) nuts! But, as the beauty of the
wood shows- it's worth it.
